Louise and David left Sydney in 2012 to take over a degraded property near Adelong originally acquired to offset vegetation cleared for the Tarcutta bypass. They've since restored the woodland, run slow-growth livestock using low-stress handling, and built a solar-powered hut on land that shelters rare bird species. Two Maremma dogs, Luca and Belle, guard the lot.
