A short walk down to a calm bend in the Glenbrook Creek, flanked by sandstone cliffs and a sandy beach in the shape of a jellybean. One kilometre return, thirty minutes to an hour, in the Glenbrook section of Blue Mountains National Park. Spotted gums and grass trees through the gorge, kestrels overhead, the occasional kingfisher around the water. The pool is calm enough for kids to swim and lilo. Park gates close in the evening.
