Three hundred kilometres east of Perth, Wave Rock is the drawcard — a 2.7-billion-year-old granite formation that genuinely looks like a breaking wave. Around it: koalas and white kangaroos in the Wildlife Park, a Miniature Soldier Museum, an Antique Lace Collection, and Mulka's Cave with its Aboriginal rock art.
