The Ravesi family opened a Campbell Parade restaurant in Bondi decades ago; the building it became is now a 12-room hotel directly across from the beach — the only hotel on Bondi's beachfront with uninterrupted ocean views. Two floors of accommodation sit above a beachside public bar and an upper floor of expansive wraparound terraces that house Alzado, the in-house Mediterranean restaurant under chef Peter Streckfuss, and Drift, the cocktail lounge. Interiors by Sydney artist Dane Van Bree in moody, dark, Aboriginal-influenced palettes. A separate Pipi Apartment building next door extends the offer to longer stays.
