South African-born carpenter Cordell Venter spent his teens shaping surfboards on the North Coast before channelling that precision into Gold Coast Wood Works. From Burleigh Heads, he handles decking, pergolas, barn door sliders, termite damage repair and custom designs — solo, no job too small. The surfboard background isn't incidental: accuracy and finish are the whole point.
