Godinymayin Yijard Rivers Arts& Culture Centre

Named for a respected Jawoyn-country elder whose story was the rock wallaby, this not-for-profit cultural centre opened in Katherine in 2012 with close to a thousand people and traditional dancers from Bulman, Wugularr and Ngukurr. It tours nationally, has hosted the international WOW Festival, and presents visual art, performance and community events across the Big Rivers region.
