Simon Gilbert spent decades making wine across the Barossa, Hunter and Coonawarra before founding this Mudgee label in 2004. His son Will — Gourmet Traveller's Young Winemaker of the Year in 2021, trained in Burgundy and Niagara — now shares the winemaking. Their Mudgee vines sit at 520 metres on clay and quartz soils. Riesling, Chardonnay and Shiraz are the focus.
