Colombian designer Jhennifer Rodriguez works with Colombian emeralds and natural materials she calls Pachamama — earth-sourced, story-carrying pieces made to be felt rather than admired. The Marine Collection and Estrellita Set are recent additions. Darwin is an unlikely home for this kind of work, which is precisely what makes it interesting.
