Richard and Janet de Beaurepaire planted this 55-hectare estate above the Cudgegong River in 1998, choosing shallow limestone soils and a cold inland climate they describe as Australia's closest equivalent to Burgundy. Twenty-two wines, all single-estate. The cellar door runs Wednesday to Sunday—self-guided flights on the lawn or guided tastings among the vines, with views across nearly two kilometres of vineyard.
