The Darwin Military Museum at East Point in the Darwin suburb of Fannie Bay tells the story of the bombing of Darwin on 19 February 1942 and the Northern Territory's role in Australia's defence during World War II. The museum features artillery pieces, photographs, personal accounts and the Defence of Darwin Experience, an immersive multimedia presentation that recreates the largest foreign attack on Australian soil.
