Since 1972, this family-run Byford park has operated across 14 hectares of bushland where koalas can be held ($40), kangaroos hand-fed, and a small train ridden through the grounds. Forty minutes from Perth, it runs daily 10am–4pm. Unpretentious and genuinely low-key — the guest book reads Arizona, India, Malaysia, Indonesia.
