Ben Thompson has been making leather bags in Sydney since 2006, and works with a small team from a Bondi Road workshop that doubles as the shop. The range runs to totes, crossbody and shoulder bags, backpacks, clutches and wallets in full-grain leather and Italian cow-suede, across more than forty colours. The totes are made to order — pick the leather, handle and hardware and it's built within ten business days — and the workshop is open seven days to watch the work and buy in person.
