The Grange was the home of the explorer Captain Charles Sturt from 1840 to 1853. The State Heritage listed house in the Adelaide suburb of Grange holds the family's nineteenth-century furnishings, and an attached visitor centre runs "Antipodean Dreams", designer Denise Schumann's exhibition on Sturt as explorer and scientist. Volunteer guides walk you through the rooms and heritage garden on a roughly hour-long tour, held on the first and third Sundays of the month.
