The Archer family have been farming this land since the 1820s. Their estate outside Longford — convict-built cottages, a blacksmith's shop, chapel, cookhouse, timber barns — is World Heritage listed and still working. Stay overnight and the Farm Village and Heritage Gardens are yours after the day visitors leave. Macquarie River frontage, three kilometres of it, for those who fish.
