The Archer family has farmed these 1824 holdings for seven generations — Brickendon Estate is one half of a UNESCO World Heritage convict-era pastoral site (the other is neighbouring Woolmers). Six cottages available to guests: three within the original convict-built farm village, three constructed from recycled materials in 1986. The Heritage Gardens, the convict farm village with chapel, blacksmith's shop and timber barns, and the Convict Farm Walk through to Woolmers are all open to day visitors Tuesday to Sunday.
