Brendan Grant grew up watching his father carpenter and his grandfather turn timber. Now based in Beaumaris on Tasmania's east coast, he works directly with clients on solid timber furniture and joinery, handpicking stock from Tasmanian and Australian suppliers. Fifteen-plus years in construction and joinery means he knows which rules to follow and which to ignore.
