Beatdisc Records

Vic Aird opened Beatdisc in 1995 off the back of a DJ career and an overflow of second-hand CDs. Thirty years on, it occupies the Queensland Arcade on Church Street Mall — new vinyl, used vinyl, CDs, cassettes, turntables — staffed by people who've been here long enough to actually know the stock. Official record store for Laneway Festival since 2023.
