Matt and Sarah sold everything in 2019 and drove to northwest Tasmania in a ute with a rooftop tent, eventually settling at Table Cape. The converted 150-year-old shed now houses a distillery where Matt grists, mashes, ferments, distils, matures and bottles single malt whisky on site. Gin, vodka, coffee liqueur and limoncello round out the range. Open Friday to Sunday, noon to four.
