Eric Semmler has spent three decades making wine in the Riverland, and his reputation rests largely on fortifieds — the Vintage Fortified released only in exceptional years, and an Apera made from rescued Palomino vines. Both vineyards are certified organic. In winter, the cellar door serves mulled wine by the fire on weekends. The Saperavi and Fiano hint at where the rest of the range is heading.
